Heidi Baker, PhD
Heidi’s Greatest Passion is to live in the manifest presence of God and to carry His glory, presence, and love to a lost and dying world. She longs to see others laying their lives down for the sake of the gospel and coming home to the Father’s love. Rolland and Heidi Baker founded Iris Ministry, now Iris Global, in 1980. In 1995 they were called to the poorest country in the world at the time, Mozambique, and faced an extreme test of the Gospel. They began by pouring out their lives among abandoned street children, and as the Holy Spirit moved miraculously in many ways a revival movement spread to adults, pastors, churches and then throughout the bush all across Mozambique’s ten provinces. Heidi is now “Mama Aida” to thousands of children and oversees a broad holistic ministry that includes Bible schools, medical clinics, church- based orphan care, well drilling, primary schools, evangelistic industries, cottage farms, widow’s programs, healing outreaches in remote village —and a network of hundreds of churches. She earned her BA, MA degrees from S.C.C., Vanguard University and her PhD from Kings College, University of London. She is calling for a passionate tribe of believers who will pour out their life for loves’ sake and bring all children of all ages home to the Father’s embrace!
Heidi is a dear friend and mentor who welcomed our Women Abide teams on mission in Mozambique for years. We all got wrecked in the love of the Father. It’s our honor and joy to pray and partner with Iris Global to see the hungry fed both physically and spiritually.
Diane Bickle, IHOP-KC and Glad Heart Realty
In 2001, Diane founded and remains the CEO of a Glad Heart Realty in Kansas City, MO. At the International House of Prayer (IHOPKC), she serves in the healing rooms and in evangelistic outreaches, oversees aspects of the pastoral care department, and regularly leads prayer meetings. She also speaks at conferences around the nation. Diane has been married to Mike for 43 years and says, “Through the years, our love, friendship, and partnership have grown, as well as our deep respect for one another. We have fun together.” They have two amazing adult sons, two beautiful daughters-in law, and five stunning grandchildren who have “stolen Diane’s heart.”
Diane is a longtime friend who has spoken often with great wisdom at Women Abide conferences since its beginning in 2012 and is a regular speaker in our online Presence Academy.
Amy Lancaster, We Will Go
David and Amy Lancaster are the Founders of We Will Go in downtown Jackson. They have a desire for all to come to know the Lord Jesus as their Savior. They have been living in Jackson since 2005 and have 3 kids. They are blessed to serve at We Will Go!
In 2000, David and Amy Lancaster wanted more out of their Christian lives. They saw there was great need in Jackson, MS. Their heart to see a better Jackson led them to take action and say, “We will go.” They began to partner with others with the heart to be a neighbor to those in the community. We Will Go has continued to grow over the years with the help of volunteers, donors, churches, and partners. We Will Go now focuses efforts towards Education, Essential Food, and Engagement. This looks like distributing groceries to low-income families in our community, offering after school care with a focus on literacy, and providing all day summer learning for students in need. All programs are centered around evangelism and sharing the love of
Christ with our neighbors. It’s amazing to see how one family’s initial actions have opened the door for so many people to come together to spark change in Jackson.
I met Amy while in Mozambique; she was teaching at Harvest School and I had brought a team from Virginia. It was a season of war in the northern province, and we were the last ones in. Our hearts burn in prayer for that nation. Since then, we’ve hosted Amy several times for
conferences in Charlottesville and taken teams multiple years to serve at Camp Hope in Jackson MS.
